Rhinoplasty Recovery Timeline:

1 Week: The first few days after a nose job are the most difficult, and you may experience some discomfort. The splint could be removed from your nose, and you can go out in public without showing noticeable signs of surgery unless there is bruising around the eyes.

2 Weeks: The majority of the facial swelling has subsided, and most of the bruising should have resolved. You’ll probably be ready to return to work at this point, but you will have to avoid strenuous activity and heavy lifting.

1 Month: You may still have some swelling, most notably at the tip of the nose, but you will now be able to see the initial surgical results. Also, you can safely return to cardiovascular activities such as jogging, swimming and cycling.

3 to 6 Months: Numbness and abnormal skin sensations around your nose must be completely gone by this point of time. Also, 70% to 80% of the refinement has taken place. Typically results at 3 months are considered very close to the result, although at 6 months it will look even better and even more at a year.
